Parent Participation

At North Fork Montessori @ Crawford, we welcome parents to be involved in the life of the school. We do so because we believe that a working partnership between parents and educators allows children to accomplish great things.

We regularly have parents assist in the classroom, join us on exciting field trips, share in the fun of cooking, investigating, and creating with their own child and their child’s classmates. We know that inviting parents to be our partners in education is what’s best for the child, and we make it a priority at every grade level. We value the time, talent, and treasure that every parent brings to campus, and we honor the unique ways that families give to our school.

If you are interested in getting involved, contact the PTCo via the school or come to one of our meetings - check the calendar for locations each month.

Parents are needed in classrooms to administer spelling tests at 8:30am. (Spelling tests can happen on Thursdays or Fridays. ) Parents are also needed to stuff the Friday Folders.
